French term

niveau de gamme

French to English Marketing Business/Commerce (general)
This is from a customer survey of a major French supermarket chain. It presents the chain's various store-brand product lines and asks the customer to rate them. It refers to the "niveau de gamme" in discussing these product lines of varying price and quality.
The example I can provide doesn't add much in terms of clarity:

"L'organisation des marques présente bien les différents niveaux de gamme des produits XYZ"

I understand what the term means, but don't know what it's called in English. Can somebody help?
Proposed translations (English)

Discussion

Philippa Smith Apr 22, 2009:
leave out "niveaux" I'd have thought you can leave out the "niveaux" and just translate "gamme", i.e. "the different ranges/lines", as presumably that is what is referred to, mid-range, high-range, low-cost range, etc etc.

An option, maybe?

Indeed, in general one can distinguish three main "niveaux de gamme": "premier prix" (the cheapest products but generally of low quality), "meilleur rapport qualité-prix" (the "best buy" brands, of relatively good quality but still relatively cheap) and "haut de gamme" the best quality of well known brands, which does come at a steep price.
