I know that Rector is 校长, is it ok to say 宏伟校长? Actually the translation is from Italian into Chinese but I couldn't find any result... Is there a Chinese form for this?

If 宏伟 is the given name of the Principal/President, you may call him 宏伟校长 but the structure of "given name + Principal/President" is used only if you and him/her are close friends. Generally you address a school Principal/president with the structures of "family name + Principal/President".

If “We the Rector Mr. XXX" appears on the certificate, you must omit "Mr.", because in Chinese, you never call yourself "Mr.". Mr. is used to address a 3rd person, and to use it together with "I" or "we" is grammatically incorrect, illogical and culturally inappropriate. The best way to deal with this phrase should be "I, the President of this university..."
