A është ai jashtë?
Hello Carolinea,
What is your context? Are you talking about him being outside or something else? If you are talking about him being outside (a building or so), then the translation would be: A është ai jashtë?
IF this is not your context, then please explain it. In the meanwhile, this place (KudoZ - asking and answering questions) is mainly for professional translators to help each-other with difficult terms. Please use it accordingly.

Thank you for clarifying this Carolinea. Since you say that the context is \"him being out with friends\", then for sure this is the right translation: \"A është ai jashtë\"?
If you want to be more specific, than you can say: \"A është ai jashtë me shokë?\" (\"Is is out with friends\"?)
You can also say \"A është jashtë ai\"? since in Albanian, it does not matter the order of the pronouns. Hope this helps.

Ka dalë ai?
Because your question lacks context, it is difficult to give you a complete answer.
In my answer, I am guessing that you are refering to someone who has gone out outside the house to run errands etc.
If it is refering to a game where someone is out of the game, then we would say:
Ka dalë nga loja ai?
Nëse mundeni jepni më shumë kontekst.

Based on the context you provided, the translation is:
Is he out? - Ka dalë (jashtë) ai?
Is he out with friends? - Ka dalë me shokët ai?
Best,
Anila

: This is a wrong translation. Your version "Ka dalë" does not say that he IS out, but he has gotten out. The context is him BEING OUT (which in Albanian is "ËSHTË") and not "getting out"!, like your version. Thus, the translation itself is wrong. Best, Ani

: Since the asker clarified the context, I would also say that the best Alb word that would describe him BEING out is "ËSHTË" dhe jo "ka dalë", which is "gone out".
