: I'm inclined to agree with Jane's take on this; I would just suggest perhaps 'consistent' instead of 'standard' for 'homogène'? I don't think 'evolve' is correct, though 'upgrade' is sometimes a better rendering...

Note that if you mix heterogeneous standard components (for example, controls from different sources), you are likely to have different changes at different times to these components, which will impact obviously the development and updates of your software, and might even at a certain moment conflict with each other..
However, if you use a component suite from one single component supplier, you know that the different components wil evolve in a same way, and will maintain the consistency between each other...
