Hello,

A hospital patient's blood biochemistry readings say their 'R.Alcaline #' is 22 mmol/l. It must mean 'Alkaline something.' I will rate answers once I know how to do so, which has not been clear in previous questions.

I would appreciate some advice on this, and no snide replies. It creates a horrible atmosphere and puts people off posting. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all.
