De ser así, necesitamos más contexto. ¿A qué corresponden estas cuotas? Un crédito hypothecario? gastos comunes (de un condominio)?, ... ¿o qué?

(Dificilmente puede tratarse de un crédito hipotecario en el marco de una promesa de comprevanta.)

Y de qué país estamos hablando? - sé que hay inflación muy alto en Argentina, pero ¿cuotas de $75 millones cada una?

Asker: Pido disculpas. Pero recién me doy cuenta que al ser todas las cuotas detalladas "cuotas iniciales", aquí debe referirse a una "cuota base" o no sé cómo expresarlo. ¿Sugerencias?

Asker: Jennifer. Es un contrato de promesa de compraventa de Colombia. Y sí, son cuotas de una propiedad inmueble. Le llaman una compra "sobre planos". Dice así: "valor de cuota inicial 75.000.000, a pagar así:" y luego el detalle de 28 cuotas. El primer detalle dice "Cuota separación" (la cual traduje como "Deposit") y luego las restantes 27 cuotas las llaman "Cuota inicial" y un monto diferente en cada caso, las cuales suman en total los 75 millones, incluida la "cuota separación".

agree  philgoddard: Or deposit.//Your answer was correct before María provided the full context. I'd normally translate it as downpayment, but I"m not sure why it's payable in 27 instalments. Also, "cuota de separación" is the fee to have the property allocated to you.
