Spanish term or phrase: Grúa de Pluma
SPAIN/ Mexico. This is one of these occasions where I know what the thing is in Spanish, but I'm not sure what it is called in English. No more real context, it comes from a list of software strings. The previous entry was "Platform Crane Type A, B,C, D". I'm surprised that it isn't in the glossary here, or IATE.

English translation:jib crane
Explanation:
Difficult to be sure without seeing a picture. It might also be a level-luffing crane, or some other variety, other than gantry crane, hammer-head crane and other types that don't have a 'pluma'.

Notes to answerer
Asker: "Boom" and "jib" seem to be pretty much synonymous, so at the end of the day, it's probably going to be a case of "pito, pito"...

Notes to answerer
Asker: Well, Linguee offers "grúa pluma giratoria = jib crane", so this looks like a contender. The problem is that these are software strings, so there is very little context to go on, and never any images.
