When you post a terminology question on the KudoZ terminology forum, please observe the following:

1. Place the term or phrase in question inside the term/phrase box. In this case, place the words "cover positions" in the term/phrase box.

2. Provide ample context and explanation in the context/explanation box. We expect to see a good-size passage showing how the term/phrase is used so as to determine what it means in your context. The expression "cover positions" can be translated in many different ways, depending on how it fits in a sentence. Simply stating that the context is business/financial-finance is not helpful enough.

When you follow these steps, you will find that the help you receive addresses your question with greater certainty and relevancy.
