reference to the lifeworld Explanation: Lifeworld is a sociological concept (see, e.g., Alfred Schütz or later Jürgen Habermas). At times German-speaking scholars use it without reflecting much on its theoretical substance so that in some cases it can simply be replaced by "everday life" or the like.
