: Автор высказывания, конечно, несёт бред, но делает это вполне грамотно. А вот "преумножать" вместо "умножать" применительно к баллам было бы неграмотно.
P.S. Вы правда не видите, что он рассуждает как школьник на уроке арифметики?

в переводе речь идёт не о математической операции, а о простом увеличении количества, поэтому всё корректно, как и приставка ПРИ- в глаголе
