Spanish term
entre otros (in this paragraph)

Hello everyone,
I'm not really sure what "entre otros" is referring to in this paragraph, which has to do with the split-up of a company and the transfer of its shareholding in another company to a third company.
So what I understand is that COMPANY A acquired a 10% minority shareholding in COMPANY B for the amount of EUR XXX. The interest in COMPANY B’s share capital held by COMPANY A is now held by COMPANY C as a result of the split-up of COMPANY A, pursuant to which it transferred ownership of the shareholding in COMPANY B to COMPANY C by universal succession.
But can anyone clarify what "entre otros" is referring to? I'm not sure if it's simply there were other assets transferred, in addition to the shareholding in COMPANY B. And if so, were these transferred to COMPANY C, or to other companies?

Note from asker:
Thank you, but the question is more about what exactly "entre otros" is referring to here, not just how to express it in English... I'm not sure if it is referring to the fact that other assets were transferred to the same company, or that other assets were transferred to other companies, or something else... |

: Fyi see "a dictionary of modern legal usage" by Bryan Garner who states that inter alia or among others is used of things. Inter Alios is used of persons. Inter alia is much more common than inter alios.

among others / among other parties
My understanding is that it refers to "others", i.e., other companies or persons, not "other things". It seems the most logical explanation to me given that Company A was split up, presumably into two or more other companies, and so ownership was transferred to, among others, Company C.

To be clear, what I believe it means is that "otros" means other persons to whom the ownership was transferred; not "the ownership, among other things".

: Correct - in context and also in 'plain English'. Although the same interpretation would be properly conveyed by AT's "inter alia", provided the TT sentence is appropriately structured.

Thank you, Robin. I do think it's difficult to tell exactly, but in my interpretation it would need to be "inter alios".

Discussion
As for inter alia vs. inter alios, I can't argue with you; if it does refer to other parties apart from Empresa C (which is quite possible), then it should be inter alios (inter alias, referring to societates, would be going a bit too far, I think). I take Latin grammar very seriously, so I must admit I'm unhappy about this. Perhaps there is no satisfactory fudge that covers all possibilities.
I also think that while Chris' answer would be an acceptable fudge to many, strictly speaking it cannot be used for both options the way that "entre otros" can. As Meridy rightly notes (and as other careful legal writers might also take exception), although "inter alia" would be be perfectly acceptable for "titularidad de las acciones de Empresa B", if "entre otros" does indeed refer to "Empresa C", then the correct Latin term would be "inter alios", not "inter alia".
It would be nice to know what it refers to, but I don't think it's possible to be sure, and if you guess wrong, mal asunto.
Inter alia is the expression you are looking for and it is normally used. Re. meaning - just as you did (and probably Chris), I understand that: upon split-up of COMPANY A, its 10% shareholding interest in COMPANY B was transferred by way of universal succession, INTER ALIA, to COMPANY C - [i.e. ownership of the shares was transferred among others assets which probably are not relevant to this document]
See the source: ... transmitió por sucesión universal, ENTRE OTROS, a favor de... -la titularidad "entre otros" is clearly between commas and refers to the verb trasmitir ... source goes on to say what it transferred among other assets... la titularidad de las acciones en Empresa B -
Trust this helps.
