Hi,
I'm working on a police procedural crime drama tv series from Canada and I came up with the expression "put on a form" which I cannot understand in this context. Could you give me a hand with this?
CONTEXT: A woman was on the roof of a building, about to jump and commit suicide. A policewoman intervened and tried to talk her out of it but they began to fight and the woman eventually fell out of the building. She survived though, and this is the conversation of the paramedic of the ambulance and the policemen when they are about to take her.
PARAMEDIC- She jumped?
POLICEMAN 1- Yeah, and she tried to take a cop with her.
POLICEMAN 2- And she's getting charged for it, so don't put her on a form.
PARAMEDIC- That's up to the doctor.

Al principio pensé que "form" se refería a un formulario para delincuentes, una especie de "ficha" en donde se incluyen los datos de alguien que ha delinquido, o algo por el estilo.
Pero parece que es simplemente el "formulario médico".
Siempre que se recibe tratamiento médico de algún tipo es necesario rellenar un formulario o un impreso. Esto sería lo normal.
En este caso concreto, parece que a un criminal no se le pondría en el formulario..., aunque por lo que dice será el criterio del médico, lo que lo determine...

: En este caso creo que no se alude a un informe médico genérico sino específicamente a un parte judicial de salud mental -lo que tiene pleno sentido en el contexto dado.
