I am trying to figure out how to translate "pospagable" in the context of a mortgage loan, referring to "tasa efectiva anual pospagable". Postpayable or post-payable sound a bit strange to me. Any ideas will be welcomed. Thanks in advance!

When Is Interest Paid in Arrears on a Mortgage? - Budgeting Money
https://budgeting.thenest.com › Purchasing a House › Mortgages & Interest
Since lenders calculate mortgage payments using the principal balance as a base, they cannot accurately calculate interest until the month has ended. As you would make a rental payment to cover the month of April on the first of the month, you would not pay an April mortgage payment until May, or the following month.

Everything sounds a bit strange until you've worked with it for a while, then you get used to seeing it.

(Pax Isabel) I'd expect deferred payment to be "pago diferido", but you never know...

My imaginary scenario would play out something like this:
Realtor/Estate agent/Mortgage loan officer, speaking jargon: "the annual fee is post-payable”
Client: “Post-payable, what does that mean?”
Mortgage guy: It means a deferred payment, in other words, you can pay at the end of the year, or maybe even later…”

Example sentence(s):
  • ... violation of California's unfair competition law (UCL) in relation to a bank's collection of mortgage post-payment interest ...
