Many dictionaries give translations including the word "monument", but I think this is slightly misleading. As you can see from the pictures in my reference, it can include such things as statues and church doors.

: "Art monument inventory" seems to be just as good. "Monuments of Arts" seems unclear. These are presumably works of art having monument status, such as statues, portraits, etc. of historic figures.

Thank you, Kphred. Yes, allthemore so as the city of Bamberg is concerned where - as results from the linked provided stock taking is not limited to statues and smaller objects.

: The other 2 disregarded the ending -isation, so those are out. Inventorisation doesn't sound so great in English, so setting up is a nice solution!

Berlitz makes a valid point about -isation. I think the most natural solution in EN is a gerund form (-ing).
I'm not too keen on 'inventory' - it suggests to me that the items are all under a single roof, i.e. in a museum or a warehouse.
I have borrowed Orla's terminology ('architectural heritage') which she has taken from the Granada Convention. 'Monuments' seems too restrictive (statues, obelisks etc), as does 'artistic' which would preclude industrial artefacts.
