agree  Rachel Baird: Master of Needlework, or Master of Handicraft. В США, единственные дипломы связаны с рукоделием это "Fashion Design" или "Textile Design". Мне кажется они не совсем подойдет и что "Master of Needlework" лучший вариант.

-> Thank you, Rachel. I pondered Fashion too, but that could involve hand bags and jewerly, for example. Textile design could involve fabric design, tie-dying, batique, printing, etc., none of which require needlework.

Master Craftsman/woman (Needlework)

Explanation:
In my view, you simply must go general (Master Craftsman/woman) and add a particular specialization (needlework) parenthetically.

This is because as far as I know there are no similar-sounding diplomas in the anglophone milieu (can't vouch for Mumbay or Khartum though...); and, quite frankly it would sound rather funny and instantly become a potential contribution to the ongoing debate on spurious degrees proliferating in today's mass-market oriented world of "ejacation" (i.e., Ph.D. in Home Economis, M.A. in Happiness Studies, etc.). All we need now is a diploma "Master of Needlework"
