Supongo que tu traducción es al inglés. Los hay para diferentes servicios, usos y capacidades. El nombre genérico puede variar ( e.g. si lleva tapa): flask, jar.

Estoy de acuerdo con Juan. En el contexto de un laboratorio, un vaso equivale de manera genérica a "beaker".

No estoy de acuerdo con la traducción de Paulo, particularmente con el término "dissolution".
