This is the context : Explicación de las pautas de la reunión (dejarse ir, espontaneidad, el debate, la escucha, los diferentes puntos de vista que se pueden dar sobre un mismo tema, etc…)

not holding back
I think this would work - the idea seems to be free, uninhibited discussion, and needs to be expressed in a relatively informal, straightforward way.

: "Don't hold back" is a good option, although I agree it may be a typo and they might mean "make yourself heard", which is tantamount to the same.

brainstorming
Me parece que "dejarse ir" tiene que ver con la "tormenta cerebral", o "brainstorming".
Note from asker:
Brainstorming means what the product creates in our minds, it is a process of what the product stimulates, how we react. |

Debora Blake
: El brainstorming se refiere a un proceso. No se aplica en este caso, ya que durante el brainstorming, el debate está prohibido.

Note from asker:
I am not able to post the whole text due to confidentiality but there is a later debate, so I do not think it is about speaking but about giving ideas, that is why I think it is brainstorming. Thank you Giovanni for your help. |
