Context: Articles of Association for a limited company in Tunisia.
'ADMINISTRATION DE LA SOCIETE
Article 15- Conseil d'administration
Chaque administrateur doit être propriétaire de 20 actions. Ces actions sont affectées à la garantie des actes du Conseil d'Administration; elles sont nominatives et doivent être déposées dans la caisse sociale.
Si, au jour de sa nomination, un administrateur n'est pas propriétaire..'
This is the translation I received (i.e. I will be making other changes): 'Each director must own twenty shares, at least, for the duration of his period of office. All of these shares act as security for the Board of Directors’ actions; they must be registered, inalienable, stamped stating non-transferability and deposited in the social funds.'
déposées dans la caisse sociale - 'deposited in the company funds/ stock' doesn't seem to work. 'Included in the share registry'?
