No further payments have been made since October 2010, although it is hoped that the claim by the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) in the amount of PHP 104.8 million (£1.49 million) will be paid shortly, as the Solicitor General and the PCG have agreed to settle the PCG claim in the amount assessed by the 1992 Fund’s experts, and the Solicitor General has agreed to sign the compromise agreement.
