Oczywiście nie jest to jedyny sposób zdobywania uprawnień, ale jeden z.

Under section 12(2) of the 1983 Act, the Secretary of State approves, for the purposes of that section, registered medical practitioners (“section 12 doctors”) as having special experience in the diagnosis or medical treatment of mental disorder. The Secretary of State is also responsible for approving doctors and other professionals as approved clinician’s (ACs) for the purposes of the Act.

A doctor who is 'approved' under Section 12 of the Act is approved on behalf of the Secretary of State (or the Welsh Ministers) as having special expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of 'mental disorders'. Doctors who are approved clinicians are automatically also approved under Section 12.
