Anche perché spesso occorre differenziare fra le varie forme di contatto con il nemico: "down / eliminated / neutralized ...".

"Tango" rappresenta la "T" nell'alfabeto fonetico NATO e come tale era (è) utilizzato come sinonimo e quindi nome in codice per "Target" = "obiettivo nemico".

Io userei qualcosa di questo tipo se si tratta dell'eliminazione di più obiettivi durante una missione.

Ipotizzando la situazione vista in molti film e giochi di guerra, questa sarebbe la frase pronunciata via radio dal soldato al resto della squadra mentre l'operazione è in corso.
