Found "professional deformation of the personality" but only as title of a book translated from Russian.

English translation:occupational psychosis
Explanation:
It's a term thunk up by John Dewey. Only am not sure if it's still widely used, but when it was used, it was frequently described as the equivalent of French "deformation professionelle". "Occupational distortion" also appears in this context, although that could be confused with ergonomic problems, strain on the spine, etc.

neutral  boostrer: psychosis is related to organic disorders, i.e., can be diagnosed based on lab tests/MRI, etc. This is not the case in this text. // I see; maybe, you are right.

  -> Please look up "occupational psychosis." It is not the same use of the word as in psychiatry. "Occupational psychosis" is a technical term, but becuase it reminds people of the other, it might work pretty well in this ironical context.
