French term or phrase: Confronter les priorités agrégées au coût dynamique
Translating a document about the estimated costs of the degradation and restoration of a water basin in Tunisia. The context reads:

"Confronter les priorités agrégées au coût dynamique du dessalement pour démontrer la très grande rentabilité des 4 priorités des ressources en eau (meilleurs services et dépollution) par rapport à l’option du dessalement. "

I get the meaning but I am concerned about my usage of English here. I have found many literal translations of "dynamique" on line (i.e. as "dynamic"), but I always hesitate when translating this word.

Can it really be done literally on this occasion? eg. "Confronting the aggregated dynamic cost priorities of... "

English translation:comparing the aggregate priority (needs) against the evolving cost of
Explanation:
comparing the aggregate [costs of] the priority options against the evolving costs of desalination
or the ratio of "this" to "that" over time is very good.

IOW, in terms of cost-effectiveness, the priority options are much better.

-> Thanks, Tony! Dynamic in this context seemed to relate to "over time", rather than "static".
