Definition:
Public Law Outline takes effect through a Practice Direction and applies to all care and supervision proceedings.
The court will set a timetable for the child that takes into account the significant steps in the child’s life during the proceedings including social care, health and education and the court will need to record key dates for example, when the child is to start a new school or when there is to be a proposed change in placement.
