Apoderado de Disposición

There is a world of difference between 'apoderado' and 'apoderado judicial' (AJ) . 'Apoderado' can simply be authorized in a contract with an employee. Whereas, AJ's, in latin countries, are usually publicly registered. The document would spell out what the powers are and/or what they are limited to.
The person in question is authorized to dispose of assets, which could be of very high values and include real property. I do not think it unusual, in this instance, that a very detailed document would be drawn up and registered.
Although Rebecca states that it is SOP to grant General Powers, there could be limitations or exceptions to the powers so that they are not necessarily carte blanch.

As I posted in another question, it is standard procedure in Spanish companies (and it appears in Venezuela as well) for companies to grant general power of attorney to certain key employees to act on the company's behalf. In no way does this imply that a separate power of attorney has to be granted for each affair conducted for the company.

I don't think a company's Articles are likely to require it to draw up a POA every time it authorises an employee or agent to do something on its behalf
