Italian term

docce aromocromatiche

Italian to English Other Tourism & Travel
L’ingresso comprende l’accesso alle piscine termali con lettini effervescenti, idromassaggi, percorso vascolare, docce aromocromatiche, piscina d’acqua dolce fronte lago, circuito saune e bagni di vapore...

This is a description of services offered at a spa tourism destination, for its website. I have all the other terms translated, but this one is stumping me.

Discussion

Margaret M Mahoney (asker) Aug 30, 2014:
Chromatherapy I saw the same, that these are only advertised in Italian spas. And I saw some photos of colored lighting in showers, so I'm assuming these showers use lighting and scents for an "aromochromaticha" shower. Anyone ever been to one of these? I guess this is the best possible scenario because I can just invent the term if it doesn't exist in English. But it has to be comprehensible, of course, to the largely German and other European clientele that goes to these spas. Thanks, everyone. You've been a tremendous help.
Howard Sugar Aug 30, 2014:
Just for for curiosity's sake I put aroma-chromatic showers and aromachromatic showers in Google and found a lot of Italian spas and hotels using the terms. I didn't find any non Italian hotels or Spas.

I cannot even agree with Shera, so I'll do it here

Margaret M Mahoney (asker) Aug 30, 2014:
DOCCE Yes, I realize the plural of doccia is docce. It was late and I was tired and now I can't figure out how to edit it.

My misspelling in Kudoz isn't the reason I couldn't find the term. It seems to be some purely Italian spa vocabulary. I'll wait for more answers, but based on my findings after posting, I think the one Shera submitted is correct.
Howard Sugar Aug 30, 2014:
The Italian word as Giovanni mentioned should be something like docce aromo-cromatiche. I have seen it translated as somthing like aromachromatic showers.
Giovanni Pizzati (X) Aug 30, 2014:
Margaret il plurale di doccia è docce. Se la penultima lettera del singolare è una consonante (ccia) la i al plurale salta. Esempio: provincia = province.
