Language Pair Good afternoon,

Is the language pair good here? Wouldn't it be FR to ENG?

filed on the notary's records

agree Nikki Scott-Despaigne : Might be helpful to state the notion of original more clearly: original held by the notary, whatever, and taken as a whole perhaps rephrased to take account of the "émanant de etc".

as it is written is the record

I think the language pair is wrong here. It is FR to ENG.

original notarial

Peer comment(s):

agree philgoddard : "Orginal notarised" would be better, to avoid having two words ending in -al.

Thank you, Phil!
agree Nikki Scott-Despaigne : "notarial original" or "notarized original".

agree Nikki Scott-Despaigne : Depedning on how the rest of the sentence is phrased, then this is another possibility. The notion of '"original" is essential.

drafted as original deed

original of the deed (acte) : minute
Peer comment(s):

neutral Tim Webb : The essential bit - that the deed is kept on file by the notary - is missing
