Seemingly easy, but I am confused since different clients ask for different translations (different terms).
And all insist that the wording is standardised.
Is there a “the one and only” translation?
Are there different equivalent translations?
What is the EMA term?
Must be as formal/official as possible.
Best with references, if possible.
I’ll ask:
“Synopsis” – first page
„Protocol Number“ – second page under the heading STUDY SYNOPSIS
“Protocol Code” – second page under the heading STUDY SYNOPSIS

Dies gilt für Deutschland. In der Schweiz und Belgien andere Terme möglich. Diese Frage wurde schon einmal mittels KudoZ beantwortet.
4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer.
Comment: "Thank you! A great relief. I really was confused since the client (PM of agency) wrote "never saw Prüfplannummer". - I had seen the former KudoZ answer, but it was in the reverse language direction, this left the possibility that there is more than one German term."
