Context:

The knot hangs the rope up at the pulley but with sufficient force, the know may be drawn through the pulley with a sudden rapid movement of the rope through the mechanism.

My translation:
El nudo cuelga la cuerda en la polea pero con la fuerza suficiente, el nudo puede ser succionado a través de la polea con un movimiento rápido y súbito de la cuerda a través del mecanismo.
