Nope. I meant "Superior." There are Superior Courts and there are Supreme Courts. In Spanish, there are Tribunales Supremos and Tribunales Superiores. It depends on the jurisdiction and tradition. I suggest the accurate, literal translation of Superior.

: Quite correct, and suitable for a US audience. There are indeed superior courts in the UK as well, but none, I think, that are actually named "Superior Court".

: I've just answered another question with H. meaning Honorable! I think an institution can be honourable in English: why not? It can have honour. It's really a synonym of "illustrious".
