的确如Shirley所指出的，NPV是Net Present Value的意思，是会计学术语
Control Testing； NPV Testing应分别是：
（对价格的）控制、管理检验；（价格的）净现值检验
所以我认为Control Testing和 NPV Testing 是 sampling inspection中用到的检验方法，也是对price的检验。
注：原想将Control Testing译成受控试验，或者对照试验。但考虑到test是动词，而且NPV明显是名字，如考虑到前后一致和结构组成，control应该是名词。故用检验（testing），和控制、管理（control）。
product可以是commodity，要看上下文。

NPV is used to assess the profitability of an investment in terms of cash flows while NRV is used in the valuation of inventory (e.g. products).
Net realizable value is generally equal to the selling price of the inventory goods less the selling costs (completion and disposal). It is expected sales price less selling costs (e.g. repair and disposal costs).
