Reference: On the meaning of 'diffuso' Reference information: It is in fact relating to heritage buildings that scatter (not sure if the corresponding adjective can be used for 'diffuso') around Italian city centres. I could not find an appropriate translation for this, but as a hint of what 'diffuso' means here, please refer to the concept of 'albergo diffuso' as provided in this website, http://www.utopie.it/turismo_responsabile/albergo_diffuso.ht... Of course, the term 'diffuso' is used for expanding cities, but with a negative meaning (see 'urban sprawl'). |
