Compromised is a general term that can be used in different contexts. You can find many examples in different fields, e.g. "compromised student account", "compromised user account", "compromised translator account", etc.

I couldn't find any information to establish a reasonable bearing between "compromised" and "shareholder account" in the realm of accountancy (You know, the asker has specified the field as "accounting").
