Hardening
Example sentence:
Hardening of children and teenagers have always done individually, taking into account their health status. If the child is listless and not much interested in, it shows the exciting procedure (cold water, fresh air, light clothing) to excitable children

: I'm sure I'd never associate 'hardening' with 'otuzovanie'. Also, the example sentence is obviously a translation from another language into English, and not a very good one at that:) (certainly no ill will intended by the disagree)

There are plenty of "relevant" google hits, like this one from Ireland "Swimmers call the process of getting better at cold water hardening." "http://loneswimmer.com/tag/cold-hardening/"

: in this context, I would only agree with 'fitness training,' not with 'fitness' by itself because otužovanie describes a process, not a state of being, čili účel je IMHO vyjádřit nedokonavost. 2) yes, I disagree with physical fitness.

you only agree with 'fitness training ' not with fitness, so you agree/disagree with ' physical fitness ' ?

Discussion
To nie je otuzovanie. To je slusne napisane "nejaka chyba".
Mali by sme najst primerany vyraz vzhladom na tex, ktory sme doteraz nemali. A odrazu ho mame, vdaka Linde, nuz a tak sa uberieme asi inym smerom.
Otužiť ( dakoho, dačo ) = otužovať, otužovanie - inure to ?
otužiť - urobiť otužilým (cvičením, posilňovať) - invigorate
otužilý - zdatný - robust, sturdy
otužilý - odolný proti nákazám - immune, resistant (to)

body hardening is a workout technique used to strengthen the nerves in the body by repeated contact until soreness.
http://alphabodyhardening.com/?p=306
