I've got this term twice in a presentation document for a port operator, the first time as one element in a description of the company's concept:

Savoir co-entreprendre avec vous dans la durée

and the second time as part of a list of the company's key values

- Equité
- Engagement
- Responsabilité

I'm coming with nothing that holds up, toyed with ideas about working hand-in-hand, which seems to omit the notion of being enterprising...anyone got any ideas?

Just a suggestion. I would be inclined to use 'work in tandem' in the first instance and 'teamwork' or 'collaboration' as a noun in the second instance.

An interesting idea and one duly taken note of, although it still doesn't include the notion of enterprising I was after. In the end I went with "achieving goals together, over time" the first time and "achieving goals together" the second.

neutral  Hal D'Arpini: For me, "work with you [or "together"]" sounds better in the text. On the list of the company's "atouts," however, "Collaboration" or even "Collaborative spirit" definitely works better (the noun rather than verb, to be consistent with the other items).

- tres souvent (et parfois contrairement au francais), les substantifs sont ce qui passe mieux en anglais;
- en plus, ici, dans cette liste, tous les autres termes proposes sont bel et bien des substantifs !
