Danish term

var udtryk for (in this context)

Are both 'udtryk's translated the same way? I'm not sure if they should be translated as 'evidence of', 'expression of' or 'token of' or some other translation.

was representation of/represneted

- in the first instance, 'at det var udtryk for betaling af de 5 % til yyy' meant that 'it was a representation/represented payment of 5% to yyy^.

-in the second instance, 'var et udtryk for yyy's ønske' meant 'was a representation of/reprented of yyy's wish'.

Thanks, David. I agree that it should translated simply as 'represented', though the literal translation would be 'a representation of'.

In this instance, it should read "it was meant as payment of" - and not use the word for as there is a number following
