Italian to English Other Medical: Health Care Manuale di istruzione
Avviare la macchina e simulare lo stato di cassetto uscita buoni pieno.

Mi serve piu' che altro sapere la traduzione in inglese del termine buoni. Si tratta dei buoni che si trovano sulle confezioni dei farmaci e vengono tolti al farmacista per essere incollati su un foglio speciale che il farmacista poi porta alla cassa di assicurazione a fini di risarcimento.

Dear Phil, my point is that the translation of buono can be of use for both a glossary of the paper making industry and a glossary of the health sector. Proof of this is that I found the term in an instruction manual of a pharmaceuticals packaging machine. However, I don't insist.

Il manuale che sto traducendo e' di una industria di confezionamento farmaci. Quindi la parola riguarda anche l'industria di carta.

If they're definitely self-adhesive, I think the most appropriate answer is stickers.
If you put this in the glossary, perhaps you could change it to "buono" - people won't be looking up the plural.

The translation of this word is not so obvious after all. I think Glinda's solution is more convincing. I also thought of sticker and self-adhesive.

I looked in the dictionary and googled voucher and coupon several times but I was not sure English native speakers used coupon and voucher to describe that self-adhesive small label used in Italy to ask for refund from social security

Have you looked in a dictionary? This is a very common word, and nothing to do with engineering or paper manufacturing as far as I can see.

O anche meglio, "peelable sticker", visto che si devono togliere dalla confezione e incollare altrove:

National Identification Number must appear on any part of the label as well as on the peelable sticker.
