客户开了一个指甲店，消防局来查放火，发现了一个问题。根据法律，每个房间的天花板上都需要有SPRINKLER和COOLER的管道，但这个店是原先由一个大房间隔成3个小房间的，其中有的房间没有上述东西。为了满足法律规定，他们必须把房间之间的分隔墙壁拆了，在新的位置重新建墙，最后还是三个房间，但布局发生了变化.

I think technically, you are talking about nonstructural walls or nonload-bearing walls, or simply, partition walls.
But in this context, maybe I just translate

they must repartition the walls separating the room
because the word “repartition” should convey the meaning of “knocking down the walls and rebuilding the walls, but not at the same old spots”
