Please, what is the exact meaning of the suffix باره?

We see it in شکمباره, for example – anything to do with ‘در باره‌ی’? Something like ‘concerned with (one’s stomach)’?

This is an affix which means "lover or too much interested in sth" (Negative connotation)

You cannot see it in many words, There are few words with this وند:

باره . [ رَ / رِ ] (پسوند) بصورت پسوند در ترکیب با کلمات به معنی دوست دارنده و حریص آید. غلام باره ؛ یعنی پسردوست . بمعنی دوست هم آمده
