se di questo si tratta propongo bazar, parola utilizzata già nel 1893, stando al doc qui sotto

1893 übernahm P. Bossang die seit 1883 bestehende Gemischtwarenhandlung „E. Weber's Bazar" in Zürich und führte diese unter dem Namen „Vereinigte Schweizer Bazare" weiter. 1900 erwarb H. Burkhardt zusammen mit einem Bekannten dieses recht grosse Geschäft.

Cristina Bufi Poecksteiner, M.A.: Il termine "bazar" mi sembra poco italiano... Anche nel testo tedesco della Domanda si parla di "Warenhandlung" e non di "Bazar". . . PS: Le parole scritte con lettere maiuscole equivalgono a 'urlare'...

Nel Novecento era questa la "merce" che non rientrava nelle altre categorie (botteghe alimentari ecc.)

Katia DG: In effetti, merceria mi sembra fuorviante, perché per un italiano è il negozio dove compri ago, filo, bottoni ecc. // Lo Zingarelli dice semplicemente che nel Novecento per "merce" si intendevano gli "articoli minuti" specificati al punto uno.
