neutral Muriel Vasconcellos : Nasalization is different from tone. 'In a nasal voice' would be OK. Nasalization is created by shaping the articulatory organs; tone is created by raising or lowering the voice.

1. In this context, tone merely means the quality or character of a sound, so I do not get your point.b 2. But tone is not just a technical term and I did not use it as such. Check out any good EN dictionary. 3. Who mentioned nasalization anyway?
