Persian (Farsi) term

دست نمی‌دادش

Non-PRO Persian (Farsi) to English Art/Literary Poetry & Literature Colloquial Narrative
Hi,

Please, what does دست نمی‌دادش mean? Is it the same as دست نمی‌داد?

Even so, it's still rather hard to translate. The full sentence:
حس خوبی از این رفتار بهم دست نمی‌دادش اصلا.

Best wishes,

Simon

Discussion

"دست دادن" simply means "feel something". We can say: I didn't feel good about it at all.

We can also say it in another form:
It didn't feel good to me at all
