"valuation' is always used for securities (stock, bonds, other financial instruments.)

Where I live in the US state of Texas, "appraisal" is used for real estate, but in the neighboring state of Oklahoma it is "assessment". Each county in texas has a county appraisal district but in Ok they have a county assessor.

Antiques and Jewelry are usually 'appraised' in the US.

Find out what the inventory consists of, and google the term valuation, appraisal and assessments with whatever it is, and see what they use in the country or region of your target readers.
