Correction: It's not a mistranslation after all.. Anti-subsidy is a correct term.. so "anti" applies to both subsidy and dumping, not to safeguard though:

Anti-subsidy measures allow importing countries to take action against certain kinds of subsidised imports. www.berr.gov.uk/whatwedo/.../key.../page27512.html

The rationale behind both anti-dumping and anti-subsidy is that countries are entitled to take action in cases of unfair foreign competition. Safeguards carry no such accusation that the competition is unfair. www.berr.gov.uk/.../key.../anti-dumping.../page27512.html

Mistranslation from English? It is confusing - esp. as the term crops up 1800 times on the internet, even on the site of the Egyptian ministry. But it seems that the correct term should be جهاز مكافحة الإغراق والدعم والوقاية , whereby مكافحة only applies to اغراق (as used here ﻟﺠﺎﻥ ﻤﻜﺎﻓﺤﺔ ﺍﻹﻏﺭﺍﻕ ﻭﺍﻟﺩﻋﻡ ﻭﻟﺠﺎﻥ ﻤﻜﺎﻓﺤﺔ ﺍﻹﻏﺭﺍﻕ ﻭﺍﻟﺩﻋﻡ لجان مكافحة الاغراق والدعم والوقاية بمنظمة التجارة العالمية ﺍﻟﻌﺎﻟﻤﻴﺔ www.mfti.gov.eg/activity report/2008-2009/Foreign/7.pdf ) The English translation of that would be the one provided by GulfTranslation, which - it seems - was misunderstood and incorrectly back-translated into Arabic?
