Don't really know what's meant by this term - can anyone help?

Schon in der Klinik begann er mit dem Rollstuhlbasketball. Über die (name of sports club) und verschiedene Sichtungslehrgänge arbeitete er sich bis in die Nationalmannschaft hoch und galt schnell als Leistungsträger.

Am 28.10. fand der erste Sichtungslehrgang der Jahrgänge 1994 u. jünger (männlich) in Germering statt. Unter der Leitung von Auswahltrainer Rüdiger Wichote stellten sich 45 Jungs der Herausforderung eines „Castings“. Nach dem allgemeinen Aufwärmprogramm wurden Fitness, Technik, Ballhandling und taktisches Verständnis getestet. Nach insgesamt 5 Stunden Training verkündete Rüdiger die 13 Namen, die in die Obb Auswahl berufen werden. 15 weitere Kandidaten wurden zu einer Nachsichtung, welche am 16.12.2007 in München stattfinden wird, eingeladen. Bei dieser Nachsichtung werden dann die letzten 7 Plätze vergeben.
