English translation: document series - please leave them unchanged

Russian term or phrase: ЖБ / ЖББ
I am translating two certificates in Russian (with duplicate in Kazakh), one of which is a "Diploma with honours" and the other is a "Bachelors diploma".

Beneath the title of each is either:

ЖБ N°: 123456789

or

ЖББ N°: 123456789

Can someone please tell me what this ЖБ and ЖББ stand for so that I can translate it accordingly. My assumption is that it is just the 'certificate reference number', but obviously, with translation, you can't afford to base things on assumption.

English translation:document series - please leave them unchanged
Explanation:
These letters stand for document series, and along with the numbers are the integral part of the document identificator. Please leave them as they are, in Cyrillics. If you would change them (transliterate, for example), this would mean that the document number has been changed.

Explanation:
Just leave it as it as. It's a serial number. Most of russian oficial documents such as passports, diplomas etc. has two cyrillic letters before a number. It doesn't mean anything special. Let's say that letters are "serial number" and numbers are "digital number".
