Com se puede apreciar a continuación, se distingue entre las enfermedades no diagnosticados (undiagnosed) por cualquier motivo y los "missed": los que podrían haber sido detectados, pero por la falta de sensibilidad del metodo, o por un error, no son hallados. El término mencinado de paso por un colega, la de "no diagnosticable" refiere al caso de existir una morbilidad o alteración cuya causa es es _imposible_ definir en el momento (o usando los métodos disponibles). Falta mencionar que hay muchos fuentes que no tienen porque pereocuparse por las distinciones precisas -los traductores sí debemos.

MORBILIDAD SENTIDA: es la Morbilidad que se produce cuando el sujeto se siente enfermo y acude a los servicios de salud. Puede ocurrir varias cosas:
a) que se diagnostique y trate. MORBILIDAD DIAGNOSTICABLE Y DIAGNOSTICADA.
b) que no se sospeche ni se diagnostique aunque haya medios diagnósticos que lo permitan: MORBILIDAD DIAGNOSTICABLE PERO NO DIAGNOSTICADA.
c) que no existan pruebas diagnosticas que nos permitan la identificación dela enfermedad: MORBILIDAD NO DIAGNOSTICABLE.
