midlife adjustment
midlife crisis is the term one hears most often, but that, of course, has a more negative connotation, so perhaps midlife adjustment would fit, depending on the context

Spanish term (edited):
Renovarse a “mitad de camino” de la vida es una sabia decisión.
Charting a new course at this point in your life seems to be a good move.
Comments:
1.
Given that this is a message sent to a friend, I think a literal translation of any kind of the phrase "mitad de camino" ("in your middle years"; "at the midpoint of your life"; "halfway through life," etc.) would sound rather stilted. It is hard to imagine someone using such language when talking/writing to a friend.
2.
The phrase "mitad de camino" need not be translated at all, for it will be readily understood. Therefore "at this point in your life" would seem to suffice.
3.
Regarding "es una sabia decision," once again, it is hard to imagine someone non-ironically praising his/her friend's "wise decision" in a presumably heartfelt message written in a greeting card. It is more likely that language like "a good move" would be used between friends.
My suggestions here are premised on the assumption that we are talking about a personal handwritten message, and not wording that has been pre-printed on the card.......
:)
