10/12 taper sleeves manufactured from Co-Cr are to designed to fit appropriate sized S&N 10/12 stem trunions. The external size of the taper sleeves is 18/20 which is designed to mechanically lock against S&N BHR modular heads & S&N modular femoral heads. 10/12 taper sleeves are available in +5, 0 & -5 offsets which increase or reduce the stem neck length accordingly. Taper sleeves are to be impacted onto femoral components prior to impacting a S&N BHR modular heads or S&N modular femoral head. Prior to sleeve impaction all components should be inspected to ensure that the mating surfaces are clean and free of debris.
