French term
ligne de fracture aujourd'hui... lignes de force demain
French to English
Science
Engineering (general)
high-performance computing
Trying to find a neat way of translating the above in the following context:
Lignes de fracture aujourd’hui, la globalisation, les révolutions du numérique, des nanotechnologies, des biotechnologies et le défi environnemental seront, demain, les lignes de force du monde qui émergera de la crise.
"today's lines of fracture...tomorrow's lines of force", "today's vectors of vulnerability... tomorrow's vectors of strength"?
Today's fracture lines - globalisation, the revolutions of numerical technology, nanotechnologies, biotechnologies and the environmental challenge - will become the earth's lines of force tomorrow when it surfaces from the crisis.

: I like this one. I think that the original has a ring to it as there is the "f" and "f" , ehre we have the "t" doubled up, which gives it pace and strength. Same number of syllables first and second half too.

Today's problems ... tomorrow's strengths
Another option. I find it a bit more "snappy" but that's just my opinion :)

today's sources of schism... tomorrow's forces for unity
Just another suggestion :-)
Discussion
"Numerical" is certainly applied to numerical models, but these are always implemented in digital code. Definitely "digital" technology, not "numerical".
Also I would use "digital" instead of numerical for translating "numerique". Juste mon avis.
